A Note from Dr. Lohr

I would like to welcome all current and future patients to the practice and point out some of the unique services we have to offer. First, I would like to thank all of my patients as well as my staff for helping me to build what I believe is the best orthopedic practice on the eastern shore.

I say this because we offer great service and skilled employees to treat your orthopedic conditions. For example, you may notice that during working hours, we have staff answering every phone call. This has become a thing of the past everywhere else but in our office, you don't have to listen to a recording and push multiple buttons. 

Our waiting times are less than most orthopedic offices. If you have a painful condition, our staff listens and schedules you an appointment as soon as possible. We believe your time is important so that you seldom spend more than a few minutes waiting in the reception area.

You will see me, Dr. Lohr, on all scheduled visits. We do not use surrogates such as Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners. 

We are a "full service shop." We have x-ray on site so you are not sent across town to wait for an x-ray study. We also have a casting room for fractures and minor procedures. 

Our patients receive top quality Physical Therapy in our expanded clinic by our staff of professionals led by Paul Simonetti, PT, DPT. We have modern equipment in a closely supervised setting. 

Surgeries can be performed at a modern outpatient surgery center or in a hospital setting depending on the needs of the patient. 

When a patient has a condition that requires expertise beyond my own, I never hesitate to refer a patient. Having practiced for over thirty years in Maryland, I will only refer to the very best spine surgeons, hand specialists, cancer specialists, etc. Often I can pick up the phone and get you in to see a specialist in days rather than weeks. 

I am the team physician for all Washington College athletes. We are used to treating sports injuries but we can handle whatever injury you have whether it is sports related, work related , an accident or an injury as a result of aging.
